Welcome to Shelsian Shelties
Shelsian
Kennels was established in 1975 in South Australia by Ian and Cheryl
Spangler and are now located on a small acreage south of Adelaide at
Woodcroft.
We breed predominantly Sables and Tri-Colours and have also bred two
Blue litters.
To date we have produced 2 Australian Grand Champions plus 14
Australian Champions with several others also on the way to their
titles.
Numerous dogs have qualified for their Obedience /Agility titles.
Shelsian Shetland Sheepdogs have been successful in winning Breed
Specialty Show Challenge Certificates in four Australian States and
also at All Breed Shows.
Ian is a qualified Working Dog Judge and is currently training for the
Toy and Utility Groups.

At the recent S.S.C.S.A. 25th Anniversary Championship Show under
Judge Julia Soltoggio (W.A.) Ji was awarded Best in Show, Sandy was
Res Ch Bitch, Roxy won best Intermediate in Show, and Peggy was Best
State Bred in Show.
